First
off, I consider it a miracle that you wrote me last night instead of waiting
until this morning. After transfer calls came in last night, I was more than a
little nervous for the changes to be made, and my new companion. Also, some
other missionaries decided to do some not so smart things last night that we
had to take care of. Needless to say, I was pretty worked up, so it was nice to
be able to sit down and read this letter as I tried to calm down enough to fall
asleep. Thank you!

Zone Conference Training
Sounds like things are going well. I know that this can be
one of the busiest times of the year, but it is exciting to hear that everyone
is happy and staying busy. I saw that Elder Ormsby is leaving too! That is so
exciting! I am sure he will do great. I am glad that I don't have to start at
18 months again though. [Michael's MTC companion, Elder Ormsby, who went home after 6 months, is now a full time missionary in the Houston South Mission.]

5-12-14 Mother's Day Skype
I enjoyed getting to see you all so clearly, even though it
was tough to hear at times. Thanks for being so patient with me. It is always
tough to try to get everything out in just 40 or so minutes. I am glad we were
able to talk. Being able to see everyone happy is a
real tribute to how hard you and Dad worked to help us all be close and embrace
the gospel. Thanks for all of your hard work.

Haha Cinco de Mayo? Not really, there aren't many holidays
that are widely celebrated out here....But thanks, happy Cinco de Mayo to you
as well!

Fruits of Coburn's labor
Thanks for the pictures! That is awesome that Aimee was able
to press through the mental wall and continue to the finish. I think that is
what life is all about! It sounds like despite the cold weather, you all
managed to have a fun and successful weekend.

Easter 2014
I also felt that this year I was able to focus on the true
meaning of Easter more. I think last Easter I was just so overwhelmed by the
whole "being a missionary" thing. I also really enjoyed the Because
of Him video and all the posts from missionaries and such. Elder Holbrook and I
had a competition on Friday; we each posted a picture of our family with the
hash tag #BecauseofHim and the competition was to see who would get the most
likes. I won by like 30, so thank you to all your friends and family who liked
it!;) I will say though, that the picture I posted I had to search through
Dad's Facebook pictures to find so I could download it and then re-post
it...and I went through all of your pictures first, but couldn't find one of
the whole family. So just saying, that was the most recent family picture I
could find on Facebook...and I think I was like 12...
4-14-14 Racing
We went to the funeral for our investigator yesterday. It
was at a golf course, which took me back to a couple of summers ago, and there
were over 1,000 people there! He was kind of a big deal around here...hopefully
he is hearing the gospel up there. He was a progressing investigator. So we
just hope and pray.
